More Than I Expected!
This is not just another book about a cop’s life and career… This is a book of solutions!!!

The author uses his actual experiences to dramatize the struggles that good cops face when they take it upon themselves to police their own. He gives situations galore of how he obstructed corruption and misconduct on his own, without the aid of internal affairs.

The author takes you into a world where truly the lines between good and bad are blurred and gets you thinking from a different perspective. It opens you up to realizing that sometimes, the laws can be manipulated to benefit law enforcement at the detriment of the people it is supposed to protect. This book is extremely eye opening and a must read for anyone and everyone.

In his book, Retired Commander Yabuku offers us an inside look at being an officer of the law, while maintaining his dignity and self respect. He takes us on a personal journey of the rights and wrongs of the Atlanta Police Department and I’m sure other departments across the country. He shows us what good policing looks like for the citizens he served and the officers that were under his command. I highly recommend this book for not only those in law enforcement, but also anyone in a leadership role.

A good read for all law enforcement officers. It’s one man’s journey from police officer to command staff and all of the challenges one undergoes climbing the ranks. I highly recommend it for those looking to better understand the police mindset as well as police operations.

Very good insight into the correct approach for how our police force should serve and protect we citizens. An alarming account of the political machine that sets the tone for police officers’ conduct on the job and the quality of their lives while serving on the force.. A valuable lesson for those in leadership positions on how to properly set the example for their subordinates.

Great book not your average cop and robbers book. The writer draws you into his world as a honest cop working to do the right thing. The writer proves that you can as one person make changes for many. Just stay true to yourself and work through issues, rewards will come. This book should be required reading for all potential chiefs and CEO’s.

Khalfani Yabuku is above reproach in terms of his integrity and ethics. I wish all taxpayers would read this. We NEED more men of his moral fiber. Outstanding book. It tells it like it is.
